Anderlehct - Roeselare: 3-1
Anderlecht cruised to victory against bottom of the standings Roeselare 3-1. At the end of autumn Anderlecht lead the JPL table, after Club Brugge lost to Germinal Beerschot.
After a masterful free kick against the crossbar from Boussoufa, Roland Juhasz put Anderlecht in the lead minutes only two minutes into the match. Afterwards the Anderlecht kept in control and the rest was scored twice. The Mauves combined well and Lukaku served De Sutter several times, who had started in place of Suarez.
Mbark Boussoufa was the ringleader of Anderlecht. His first shot was parried by Sierens, but the goalkeeper Roeselare did not know where the ball was and pushed the leather with knee unfortunate own goal. With a shot in the rotation caused Romelu Lukaku just before the rest even for 3-0. It was already game over by the end of the first half. But Roeselare refused to give up, and a goal early in the second half by Vidarsson gave again hope for the visitors.
The Roeselare comeback never materialized, although Anderlecht had to end the game with ten men after Boussoufa's dismissal. The Dutch-Moroccan was sent off for two yellow cards after he took the ball by hand. Roeselare, however, never succeeded in exploiting the numerical advantage. Anderlecht was in cruise mode, remaining in the lead and extend his lead further in the Jupiler Pro League by five points to second-placed Bruges.
