Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea after Kouyate

Cheikhou Kouyaté could be the first real star player to leave the club this summer. Interest from England just became more concrete. Clubs such as Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal are eager to land the defender.

But Kouyate does not have a European passport and he didn't play 75% or more of the international games with his country. This means he does not qualify for a transfer to England. A special jury might grant him an exception though, since he is in the process of obtain a Belgian passport.

Anderlecht want 10 million euro for their defender. This could be lowered to 7 million combined with additional bonuses for the Mauves depending on Kouyaté's performance in England. But with the Champions League becoming close, the Senegalese player might stay after all...
