Already 1.200 parking fines in four games time

During the first four games of the season, 1.200 Anderlecht fans already received a parking fine. The municipality of Anderlecht created a special parking zone around the stadium, only active on match days.


The official statement of the municipality states that by creating this parking zone, they want to stimulate the fans to use public transportation. But with the ridiculously high parking rates, it's clear the whole thing is about gaining as much money as possible.
