Cyriac is leaving Anderlecht. The striker signed a four year deal for KV Oostende. Cyriac came from Standard, where he had made a solid impression thanks to his speed, to Anderlecht. Due to injuries, he could never convince...

Cyriac was bought by Anderlecht a few years ago. The striker had just torn his knee ligaments for the second time. Therefore his transfer fee was reasonable for Anderlecht. It was a gamble that didn't pay off. Cyriac could not reach his former level of play again and ended up on the bench. During the last two season, he only started in 24 games.

During the last few games, youngster Aaron Leya Iseka was even prefered over Cyriac by trainer Hasi. His departure is therefore a good thing for the club, but also for the player himself. With Cyriac gone, Iseka has a one competitor less. The club gets more financial room to do an incoming transfer. Cyriac on the other hand gets a new chance in Oostende, where we wish him all the best.
