TRANSFERS With his performances at Waasland-Beveren, Isaac Kiese Thelin has awakened the interest of Borussia Mönchengladbach. Thorgan Hazard's club is looking for new strikers for next season and Thelin is one of the three names that are on their list.
The Brazilian Raffael will soon be 33 years old and will probably leave. The Swiss Josip Drmic also hardly plays and is barely scoring in his third season at Mönchengladbach. The German newspaper Express now claims that Mönchengladbach has three players in mind to replace them: Jean-Pierre Nsame and Roger Assalé of Young Boys Bern and Isaak Kiese Thelin.
That trio has the advantage of their financial feasibility. Mönchengladbacht is also thinking of Kasper Dolberg (Ajax), Sebastien Haller (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Andrej Kramarić (TSG Hoffenheim), but they are only achievable if the club gains European football. With a seventh place, Gladbach is currently just after the European places.
