"Wouter is superfan, everyone has to realise that"

INTERVIEWS Jan Vertonghen is honest and thinks RSC Anderlecht should be happy with 1 point because there really wasn't much more in it. The red devil also spoke up for non-executive chairman Wouter Vandenhaute: "He really has the best intentions for the club and is a super fan, everyone has to realize that."


RSC Anderlecht dragged out a point at Jan Breydel yesterday: "And if you look at the whole game we should be grateful to Mechele for that owngoal," Vertonghen is honest.

"The whole fuss that's going on at the moment, I try to stay as far as possible from that, I focus on the football," Vertonghen said, "But I'm sure Vandenhaute only has the best interests of the club at heart, getting them back to where they should be."
