TRANSFERS After four years, Wout Meese is saying goodbye to Anderlecht. The 18-year-old goalkeeper will play next season for Knokke. At the number seven in the first amateur league, he will sign a contract for one season.
Meese played for Club Brugge from 2011 to 2017. This was followed by two years at Lokeren before moving to Anderlecht in 2019. This season, he sat on the bench nine times as second goalkeeper with the RSCA Futures in 1B. Playing he did not.
At Knokke, Sven Dhoest is currently first goalkeeper, but he will join Varsenare in first provincial next season. With Merveille Goblet (ex-Cercle Brugge and -Beveren), Knokke also brought in another, more experienced goalkeeper.
