Now Brighton bid for Verbruggen as well

TRANSFERS Het Nieuwsblad reports this morning that Anderlecht have rejected Burnley's initial bid for Bart Verbruggen. That amounted to €15 million, according to the newspaper. Meanwhile, The Sun reports that Brighton have also made a bid. They are talking about a figure of €18.7 million.


Regarding Burnley's bid, Het Nieuwsblad still reports that Anderlecht has made a counter-proposal to Burnley. Purple-White are said to have a fee of around €20 million in mind.

So the chances of Bart Verbruggen playing for Anderlecht next season seem to be getting slim. The Dutchman hopes to move to a Premier League club where he can play.
