Diawara loses against Egypt

GAMES In the qualifiers for the Africa Cup, Guinea suffered a 1-2 defeat against Egypt tonight. Anderlecht player Amadou Diawara was on the pitch for the home team for the entire match. If Guinea plays a draw against Malawi on the final matchday, it is sure of qualification.


Egypt's big hero was former Anderlecht player Trézéguet. He started as a bench player, but came on after only ten minutes. Shortly before half-time he scored the equalizer and ten minutes before time he gave the assist for the winning goal.

The Africa Cup will take place from 13 January to 11 February next year.
