Former Club player Masovic linked to Anderlecht

TRANSFERS According to German Sport1, Anderlecht is one of the clubs interested in Erhan Masovic. Masovic is a 24-year-old central defender who swapped Club Brugge for Bochum in October 2020. There, he grew into a key player.


Club Brugge brought Masovic to Belgium from Serbia at the age of 18, but he would never play a game for them. After loan spells to Trencin and Horssens, he left for Bochum in 2020 transfer-free. There, he developed into a strong defender. He scored four goals this season and his market value rose to €5 million.

Besides Anderlecht, FC Copenhagen, Gent, Torino, Monza and West Bromwich are also said to be interested. Masovic still has a two-year contract and should cost €4-5 million, according to Sport1.
