Debast already back in training at Anderlecht

OTHER Barely two days after being eliminated at the European U21 Championship, Zeno Debast is already training again at Anderlecht. The young defender landed in Belgium on Wednesday and yesterday he reported back to purple and white. That was agreed beforehand. Before the European Championship, he already had enough rest and holidays.


"Of course I'm looking forward to it," Debast said in a video on Anderlecht's Instagram page. "I think it has lasted long enough. It's great to see everyone back. The staff, the medical staff, ... We are ready to go for it. 

"I'm completely ready to start the season here. The national team was a bit of a bummer, if you can call it that. But the button has been turned. Now the focus is completely on Anderlecht. We are going to try to get everything out of it, to be ready the first match."
