Goal Murillo gives Panama second win

GAMES Amir Murillo was again decisive for Panama yesterday. In the second game at the Gold Cup, he scored the 0-2 against Martinique. Martinique softened to 1-2, but that was all.


In the previous match, Murillo had already provided an assist and he scored twice during a friendly game in the run-up to the Gold Cup. The right-back is clearly in good form.

With this win, Panama is already sure of a place in the quarterfinals (Sunday 9 July). On Wednesday they play the final group game against El Salvador.
