Anderlecht pushes on for Patris

TRANSFERS Anderlecht are serious about acquiring Louis Patris from OH Leuven. Het Nieuwsblad knows that purple-white have raised their offer. The aim: to take the Belgian right-back with them on Saturday when Anderlecht leave on training camp.


OH Leuven initially asked four million euros for Patris. According to Het Nieuwsblad, Anderlecht's offer offers prospects of reaching a deal. 

The 22-year-old Patris broke through completely last season. He played 33 games, including 31 as a base player. He scored twice (against Antwerp and against Kortrijk) and provided eight assists.

Born in Gembloers, Patris swapped Standard for OH Leuven at the age of 14. He also played six times for the Belgian U21 and was there at the last European Championship.
