Interest in Dutchman from Dinamo Kiev

TRANSFERS According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Anderlecht are interested in Dutch midfielder Justin Lonwijk (23) from Dinamo Kiev. Lonwijk is an old acquaintance of Fredberg, who was able to get him from Utrecht when he worked for Viborg.


Lonwijk still has a contract until 2027 in Ukraine, but a loan move is certainly possible. Lonwijk, incidentally, has been on Fredberg's list for some time. The Dutchman visited Neerpede back in January but no agreement was reached then.

Lonwijk was trained at PSV, but made his debut at Utrecht under John van den Brom. Lonwijk is an attacking midfielder who can also play on the wing. It is possible Anderlecht sees him as the replacement for the injured Verschaeren.
