TRANSFERS Should the Sergi Canos dossier come to nothing, Anderlecht have an alternative behind them with Isak Bergmann Jóhannesson. The know transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri. Jóhannesson is a 20-year-old winger who plays for FC Copenhagen.
The Belgian league is not unknown territory for Jóhannesson. After all, he is the son of Joey Gdujonsson, who briefly played for Racing Genk between 1998 and 2000. His uncles Thordur and Bjarni also played for Genk.
Jóhannesson himself played football with Akranes in Iceland until December 2018. Via Norrköping, he joined FC Copenhagen in the summer of 2021. There, however, he is mostly a substitute. The 19-time Icelandic international (three goals) still has a contract with Copenhagen until mid-2026
