Official: 17-year-old Conté extends contract

YOUTH Aboubacar Conté has extended his contract with Anderlecht. The 17-year-old midfielder signed his first professional contract in May last year. Last season, he played with Anderlecht's U18 squad.
 


Until when Conté is now fixed, Anderlecht did not disclose. Perhaps he signed a three-year contract last year and is now adding one more season.

The rules state that minors can sign for a maximum of three years and extend it for one year at a time afterwards. Only after their 18th birthday it is possible to sign for a longer period.
