Anderlecht pushes for Alexis Flips

TRANSFERS One of the first rumours during this transfer period was the interest in Alexis Flips of Reims. According to Het Nieuwsblad, Anderlecht have made Flips (23) a contract offer. The Frenchman should provide creative solutions in attack and is in his final year of his contract.


Flips usually plays on the left wing, but Anderlecht would also like to play him out as an attacking midfielder. The Anderlecht name and current project would appeal to the player. Currently, there is no sign of an agreement yet, but it is possible the file will evolve positively in the coming days. Flips' market value is around €6 million, but Anderlecht hopes that price will drop due to the player's expiring contract.
