Delcroix on his way to Burnley

TRANSFERS Vincent Kompany has made his Premier League debut with Burnley, but he is still coming back to shop at Anderlecht. This time he would like to snatch Hannes Delcroix away. The player is reportedly already in England to undergo medical tests. If these go well, Delcroix could sign a three-year contract with the England promoted side.


Delcroix could never really break through at Anderlecht. He did suffer some serious injuries that kept him out of contention for a long time. Last weekend too, Delcroix was not in the core against STVV although that would have been because of slight discomfort. It is not known how much Anderlecht will receive for Delcroix.

Decroix may not be a base player and the arrival of Augustinsson also limited his playing minutes on the left. But Anderlecht does lose an option centrally as a result, leaving only Vertonghen, Debast and Sardella as central defenders.
