Delcroix: "An honor to have played at Anderlecht"

TRANSFERS Hannes Delcroix said goodbye to Anderlecht in a message on Instagram. The 24-year-old defender, who from now on plays for Burnley, thanks a lot of people and declares his love for Anderlecht.


"My adventure at Anderlecht has come to an end", Delcroix begins. "After ten years of representing this club, it's time to say goodbye. I want to thank all the players, the staff members, the trainers and the people behind the scenes. And of course the great supporters who stood behind us in good and bad days."

"I am honored to have played with this emblem on my chest. I leave the club with my head held high. Thank you Anderlecht for giving me this opportunity. We will see each other soon."

After which Delcroix closes his message with a purple heart and the letter combination COYM (Come On You Mauves).
