TRANSFERS On Sunday, he was still the match-winner and something is moving around Francis Amuzu according to transfer specialist Sacha Tavolieri. Both Olympiakos and Nottingham Forest are options for the fast winger. Amuzu wants to take advantage of the interest to make the move abroad.
Olympiakos, according to Tavolieri, offered €6.5 million for a loan with obligation to buy, but that offer was refused by Anderlecht who would currently want €9 million. A loan to Nottingham (with presumably a similar construction) is also a possibility, but nothing is fixed at the moment. But the fact is that Amuzu could still leave.
Anderlecht will have to be short on time, as the transfer market closes in Belgium on 6 September. If Amuzu leaves, it will have to bring in a replacement anyway, as the wings are already quite sparsely populated in the selection.
