Schmeichel linked to Anderlecht

TRANSFERS The media are reporting tonight that Anderlecht want to bring goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel to Lotto Park. The 36-year-old Danish goalkeeper had his contract with Nice dissolved a few days ago. Brian Riemer, on his press chat after the game against Genk, would neither confirm nor deny the news.
 


"I cannot comment on transfer matters. We have two good goalkeepers at the moment, but we always look out for opportunities. Whether Schmeichel is an option I cannot say," Riemer replied when asked about Schmeichel.
