Hazard: "Not the dream scenario"

INTERVIEWS Thorgan Hazard could not celebrate his Anderlecht debut with a win. The latest summer acquisition started on the bench, but was allowed to fill in on the hour. "I could have started, but the staff chose not to take any risks," he told Eleven's micro afterwards.


"This is not the dream scenario," Hazard told about the match itself. "We had to chase and still managed to equalise. At the end we played with a lot of long balls, but that was also necessary." 

"Eleven against 11 was already not easy, but after the penalty kick, the red and the counter-goal, it wasn't really easy. For a team ranked last, Kortrijk didn't play badly. But that's normal. Against Anderlecht you always play at 200 per cent.

"Of course we wanted to win this match, but in this scenario we have to be satisfied with a point," Hazard concluded.
