INTERVIEWS Noah Sadiki was one of the standouts Thursday night in the European game at Lotto Park. Only he didn't play in an Anderlecht shirt, but in a Union one. After the game he was asked a few questions about his departure from purple and white, but he did not want to go into depth.

In no time, Sadiki emerged as one of Union's star players. Not as a right back as he often played with Anderlecht, but as a defensive midfielder. A place where he says he feels better. "I am calm on the ball and good at recovering balls," said the 18-year-old Sadiki.

After Union's European match at Lotto Park against Toulouse, he was allowed to take a seat next to coach Alexander Blessin at the press conference. A journalist asked him why he fell next to the core during the second half of last season at Anderlecht. "I never got a clear explanation about that from the coach," was his answer. "Furthermore, now is not the time to go deeper into this."
