Riemer: "Raman has not been punished"

INTERVIEWS It must be galling for Benito Raman. Are there numerous (offensive) players out with injury, he just gets sick. Otherwise, he had a good chance of being on the selection this afternoon. Because there is no question of an athletic banishment after his missed transfer in late August, says coach Brian Riemer.

"I expected this question," Riemer laughed at his press call yesterday. "Everyone knows that at the end of the mercato we tried to find a solution for Benito. For various reasons he stayed. All I can say now, with complete honesty, is that he is sick now. And yesterday too."

"There is no drama around him. Benito is a fantastic guy. He is very liked within the team and by the coaching staff. There is a lot of competition, he knows that and we know that. That's the reason why he fell beside the selection in recent weeks. Not for disciplinary reasons or whatever. He certainly hasn't been punished."
