Amuzu: "The title a realistic goal? Yes"

INTERVIEWS After his world goal against KV Mechelen, Francis Amuzu was allowed to open Extra Time last night. He was asked a series of questions to which he had to answer briefly. Read here what he was asked and what his answers were.


How many times have you replayed your goal?
"I think about ten times anyway."

Did Paul Van Himst come to thank you afterwards to brighten up his birthday with a world goal?
"No."

Your shirts were beautiful. Are you as a player group going to protest collectively if you are not allowed to put them on on the next game day.
"I don't know. Maybe we will. They were beautiful. Everybody liked them."

With your speed, you have the ideal profile to make things difficult for already tired defenders. You already scored three goals as a substitute this season. Aren't you afraid your coach is going to see you as the ideal supersub?
"No."

You were still flouted by your own fans at the beginning of the season. Do you care.
"In the beginning, yes, but after that I clicked. That's just soccer. That's part of it."

Is the national title this season already a realistic goal for Anderlecht?
"Yes."

Do you ever ask yourself if you would score more from the right?
"Sometimes."

If you were national coach of the Red Devils, would you have called up Arthur Vermeeren?
"Yes."

And Francis Amuzu?
"That's possible, yes (laughter)."
