Anderlecht wins friendly game against Beerschot

GAMES Anderlecht beat Beerschot 1-0 in a friendly game. Riemer fielded players who have no international obligations or who just returned from injury. Luis Vazquez scored the only goal. Ashimeru celebrated his reappearance after an extended period of absence due to injury.



In the first half, Beerschot was not at all inferior to Purple and White and was actually the better team. Vazquez did head a good chance wide. Lonwijk was one of Anderlecht's more active players where Flips couldn't get through. 

The Frenchman struggled after a solid start.Hazard also did not play his best 45 minutes.Anderlecht did play slightly better in the closing stages of the first half.

After halftime, Leoni in particular provided a better footballing midfield. Anderlecht did get opportunities now, including through Angulo, Dreyer and Vazquez. After six substitutions at Beerschot, Vazquez scored the 1-0, a similar goal to Eupen. In the closing stages, Ashimeru, Ure and A. Engwanda also made up their minds.
