INJURIES Except for Thomas Delaney, Brian Riemer will have a fully fit squad at his disposal Sunday against Standard. He told that yesterday afternoon on his press conference ahead of the Clasico. Delaney is also doing well. Riemer is counting on the midfielder being employable again in one to two weeks. "He is fully fit," he said.

"Everyone has returned well from the international games. For Jan, Zeno and Ludwig it was a strange game, but everyone is fit and ready for Sunday. So apart from Delaney, everyone is ready for the game against Standard," Riemer said.

By the way, how is Delaney doing? "For a broken collarbone, six weeks was said, but I hope it will be somewhere between four and six weeks. For Sunday's game, he will definitely still be out. After that, it all depends on how things evolve. Next week he will undergo a scan. That will give us a better idea of how well his bone has healed so far," said the coach.

"Thomas has a machine working on his shoulder that should speed up the recovery process by 20 to 25 percent. Hopefully the images (from the scan, ed.) we will get at the beginning of the week will give us good news."

"Thomas is fully fit and ready"

The collarbone fracture, however, does not cause Delaney to do nothing at all. "He runs, he plays soccer on the field, he sprints. So it's not like he will really come off an injury period. He's fully fit and ready. The only thing we're waiting for now is that he may also fall and protect himself in the process."

"Possibly he will get fit for the game against OH Leuven (Oct. 28), the cup game (Oct. 31 against La Louvière) or the game against Cercle (Nov. 5). So that will depend on what the scan will tell."
