INTERVIEWS For one half, Kasper Dolberg's sixth league goal seemed to put Anderlecht on the road to a stunning victory. Until after halftime the pudding completely collapsed. "I didn't know we could be so bad," the Dane spoke disillusioned after the game, referring to what happened after the break.

"We came onto the pitch after halftime with too much confidence. We lacked character at the start of the second half. Otherwise it is not possible to swallow three goals against in nine minutes," La Dernière Heure echoed.

"However, we had said the match was not over yet. We knew Standard would try to grab us by the throat. In my whole career, I have never experienced such a remontada as today. Something like that should never happen again. We return to Brussels with a very bad feeling."

The fervor of the Standard fans should not be an excuse for Dolberg. "We should be able to play in such an atmosphere. It is us, the players, who are to blame for this. In the first half we showed the best side of ourselves, in the second half our worst."

"Strange there was no penalty"

Then there was the penalty kick phase between Dolberg and Vanheusden. "For me it was penalty kick," Dolberg said. "I know in a match there are often such duels, but here he really stopped me with his two arms. It was impossible to stay on my feet. I find it strange that this was not a penalty.
