"Verschaeren's return comes closer and closer"

INTERVIEWS Now that Thomas Delaney has recovered from his collarbone fracture and Majeed Ashimeru is also fit again, Yari Verschaeren is the only player currently not deployable. But a return to action is near for the midfielder as well. "Yari is currently training with the group," revealed coach Brian Riemer.


"Yari is doing very well," Riemer said. "He is currently training with the group. It's hard to say when he can play his first minutes again, but it's getting closer and closer. That's very positive."

"Yari has never had a relapse. Every day he is one step ahead. It's really a positive story. It's just a matter of time before we see him back on the field."
