28-year-old Simonini leads cup game

GAMES The Belgian Football Association has appointed Matonga Simonini as referee for tomorrow's cup match between Anderlecht and La Louvière. Next weekend's league match will be refereed by Jan Boterberg.


The 28-year-old Simonini has been a fixture in 1B this season. In the highest division, he has already acted as fourth official several times. Simonini is assisted by linesmen Quentin Lesceux and Jordan Vandenborre.

For next weekend's league match against Cercle Brugge, Boterberg will be assisted by linesmen Laurent Conotte and Michele Seeldraeyers and fourth official Anthony Letellier.
