RSCA Women start strong in playoffs

DAMES The RSCA Women have already set a good example. They started their playoffs very well and sent Club Brugge home 5-0. Anderlecht started third in the playoffs and remains in that place after their rivals OHL and Standard also won their first match convincingly. Anderlecht is only one point behind, so everything is still possible.

Anderlecht started the match brightly with a crisp free kick by Deloose after 25 minutes. The topper was attended by 2613 people, which is immediately the record for a women's soccer match in Belgium. Though tickets were available for free.

Brugge could offer little resistance and at halftime Anderlecht was already leading 3-0. Just before the halftime signal, a Bruges ball had to be cleared off the line. After halftime, Anderlecht extended the lead even further to 5-0.
