The "Proto-soap" will maybe have a happy ending for Anderlecht. President Vanden Stock has intervened in this case in order to get the national number one in Brussels.
After this weekend, Roger Vanden Stock will negociate with La Louvière's President Filippo Gaone in order to come to an agreement. A transfer is likely to be finalised by next week.
Both teams are meant to adapt what they exactly want and will try to find a compromise between the 500.000 euros a year that Anderlecht are ready to pay and the annual wages of 750.000 euros asked by Proto's environment. That means Proto could already play in the first match of the secound preliminary round of the Champions League.
Portsmouth are however not to be forgotten as they will also meet La Louvière next week.
