Interest in Diabaté is (probably) not correct

TRANSFERS Ibrahim Diabaté, the 25-year-old Ivorian striker from Gothenburg, is currently creating a furor in the Allsvenskan. With 8 goals and 1 assist in 11 games, he has attracted the attention of several European clubs. Some websites reported this week that Anderlecht would show interest in the striker, but that should be taken with a heavy grain of salt, however. In fact, the original Ivorian source article does not mention any purple and white interest.


The article reports interest from Racing Genk and Union, but not from Anderlecht. SC Heerenveen, Fortuna Düsseldorf and Hamburger SV also figure in the list. But what is not, can still be...? Diabaté already costs about 3 million euros.
