The topper on Sclessin between Standard and Anderlecht has ended on a draw. Especially after the break it was a poor match. Bruges can take advantage out of this draw on Monday evening.

At the break it was 1-1. Both teams caught a goal after a defensive mistake. In the 10th minute, Kompany didn't defend well, Mpenza grabbed the chance with both hands and scored his 16th goal of the season.
Anderlecht got the chances to make the equaliser, because Habran, Carini's replacement, made some mistakes. Wilhelmsson couldn't take advantage.
Just before half an hour, Iachtchouk made the header. Habran wanted to push away the ball, but Aruna could score from an incredible angle, after an interference by defender Enakarhire.

The second half was very poor. There were lots of mistakes on both sides. Anderlecht had the best chances to win this topper, but Wilhelmsson didn't control the ball well enough. Goran Lovré, who fell in later on, saw how his first touch of the ball, a nice shot, was pushed over the post by Habran.
