Kanu: "Ready for A-team"

The Brazilian newcomer Kanu scored in the game against Liège his first goal for Anderlecht. He thinks he's ready for the first team of Anderlecht. "A selection for the first team is my ambition", says Kanu.


The striker who is only just a few weeks in Brussels is easly integrating in the group. "The group has received me well - I feel myself already complete well incorporated. Because I knew that the trainings in Belgium are heavier I decided to come here two weeks earlier. Slowly I'm adapting to the rhythm" , tells Kanu in Het Nieuwsblad.

Now Frutos is injured, Kanu is the only real deep striker in the group.
"I hope only one thing and that is that Nico is soon better. I am convinced that we can play together. I have seen his way of playing and I know how I play. Together we can a hurt a defence."
