Anderlecht decided to let Pareja go to the Olympics

Anderlecht decided not to keep defender Nicolas Pareja in Brussels for the Champions League qualifications. This means that the Argentinian player can join his national team on the Olympics.


"We'll have to miss an important player, but this is a unique chance for Pareja. Therefore, we decided to let him participate the Olympics. On his return, he'll have to fight to win his place in the starting line-up again", said coach Jacobs.

Pareja will leave the group on Saturday.
