Standard unhappy with Supercup date

RSC Anderlecht are challenging Standard de Liège in the annual Supercup game on 9 August 2008, but Standard are disappointed about the date of the match. Three days later, they are playing in the third preliminary round of the CL.


"Why doesn't the Belgian Football Association schedule this game in the month of September? We have several empty spaces in our calendar there", Standard argues.
