The Belgian first divison, also known as the Jupiler League, will be called the Jupiler Pro League from now on. The Profliga announced that on a press conference in the football federation building.
The name change of the competition is part of a project called 'Recht op doel'. The project should improve the quality and excitement of the Belgian football, according to Ivan De Witte, chairman of the Profliga.
