Polak : « I feel like a leader »

In a few months, Polak became one of the main figures in the team. « I feel more of a leader here in Anderlecht than in Nürnberg. I am one of the oldest which obviously means I have experience to bring to the others. »


« I would never have reached the same level of maturity in Germany, as it was my first experience out of Czech Republic. » he says in the newspaper Sud Presse.

The midfielder is also disappointed about the elimination in the Champions League by Bate Borisov, that played Wednesday in Santiago Bernabeu against Real Madrid. « It is really hard to stay at home instead of playing a European Cup, but you have to accept it » he sighs. « Only one game a week is not much to get rythm, I have to admit I play better when games are closer one from another. »
