The Belgian police started an examination of six games of last season of which fraude is suspected. One of those games is the one against STVV in which Anderlecht won 4-1 by scoring four goals in the last 10 minutes.
A few of those goals were disputed.
After the game, it became clear that a lot of money had been bet in China on a victory of Anderlecht with three goals difference.
