Proto's scoring header impresses

Silvio Proto scored from a header in injury time of the game between GBA and Gent last sunday. The goalkeeper who still belongs to Anderlecht was the center of all conversations yesterday.


« Everybody was talking about him in the locker room » explains Jelle Van Damme. « Lots of players sent him messages. I personally never saw such a goal from a keeper before. I always found he was a very good goalkeeper, and he has now the opportunity to prove it. »

Even trainer Jacobs was pretty impressed in Proto's scoring header. « Even Van Damme would not have done a better job » jokes Ariel Jacobs, who sent a congratulation e-mail to Silvio.
