Mats Rits, de 15-year old talented midfielder, decided in April to stay with Germinal Beerschot. Rits was wanted by Real Madrid and Ajax, but he also negotiated with Anderlecht.

"We’ve been trying to get him for two years now,” says Jean Kindermans, responsible for the youngsters at Anderlecht. “We’ve had to accept he hasn’t chosen for Anderlecht. We wish him a lot of luck.”

"When Sporting looks for Belgian talents, they have already been contacted by French, English, Italian, German and Dutch clubs. They see them on big tournaments and offer crazy sums. I call it prostitution of youngsters,” says Kindermans in La Dernière Heure.
