Van Damme: "Complaint Onyewu doesn’t interest me"

Jelle Van Damme says he know about Onyewu’s complaint, but he doesn’t care. “I’m not going to let it bother me,” he says. Meanwhile, Anderlecht put their lawyers to work.

"We wait for further news and we will talk to Jelle to see what we can do,” says manager Van Holsbeeck in Het Nieuwsblad.

Also Daniel Spreutels, lawyer of the club, doesn’t want to rush the case. "It”s way too soon to talk about the consequenses yet. Van Damme will be consulted when he returns from his holiday,” says Spreutels. “Up until know he hasn’t told us he said those things. And I don’t think there are witnesses of what might have happened. It his word against Onyewu’s.”
