Mbark Boussoufa doesn’t seem to be sad anymore about the title they have lost. The Moroccan already speaks about next season and really wants to stay. “But we need extra players. I really hope Bryan Ruiz will come.”

"I’d love to play with him,” Boussoufa says in Het Nieuwsblad. “If we can play in one team? It worked with Hassan. No, Ruiz would be great for Anderlecht.”

At the moment Mbark is recovering from his operation at his jaw. “I was lucky,” he says about what happened with Bolat. “If the jaw-bone would have moved, I’d been out for three months.” Now he has a metal thing is his jaw to keep everything in place. To do that, four teeth had to come out. “At the beginning everything was very swollen. In the mirror I could see how I would look in the future.”

If everything goes well, Boussoufa will be fit again at the end of July to lead Anderlecht through the qualification rounds of the Champions League.
