De Sutter rode 90,6 km by bike in the Pyrenees

Tom De Sutter made a fit impression yesterday on training. That he rode his bike a lot during his holidays, probably has a lot to do with it.

De Sutter rode to the Col du Soulor, Col de L'Aubisque, Col de Spandelles, Luz-Ariden en Hautacam. That’s about 90.6 km of climbing. “It was a challenge,” De Sutter laughs.

"Only when I was climbing the Hautacam, I had to walk a bit because it was getting too difficult. The rest wasn’t a problem. My friends also wanted to climb the Tourmalet, but I passed. I also wanted enough rest before the start of next season.
