Yesterday Anderlecht started the preparation of their next season, but the lost title isn’t completely out of their minds. Trainer Ariël Jacobs didn’t say much to the press.

"It’s your job to fill the papers and my job to lead the training,” was the only thing he wanted to say. To his players he said: “We have to forget about the lost title. The most important thing isn’t the past, but the present.” By working harder, you’ll get better.”

Also the players themselves haven’t forgotten the title yet. “Indeed, everyone is still thinking about it,” says Olivier Deschacht in Het Nieuwsblad.

Also Tom De Sutter had to recover. “We have to remember we didn’t play a bad season. With 77 points you normally are the winner. The board also believes in our team. We have to believe in the CL- qualification. Otherwise we shouldn’t start it...”
