Only one player could persuade Van Holsbeeck

Manager Herman Van Holsbeeck has returned from South – America with only one positive report. The three or four other defenders he went to look at weren’t that good and got a negative report.

The only one who could persuade the manager was an Argentinean defender, but that doesn’t mean he’s coming to Anderlecht. President Roger Vanden Stock only wants to buy another defender if one at Anderlecht leaves.
