Anderlecht buys 19-year old Brazilian

Anderlecht has bought the 19-year old defender Renan Felipe Boufleur. He came transfer free from the Brazilian team Santos, ex-team of Pele, Diego and Robinho.

Yesterday he already trained with the group and the end of this week he’ll sign his contract for three years.

Santos would have preferred to keep their talent, but Renan’s thoughts were already at Anderlecht. “Pele came to say hi to me every day, but I really wanted to go to Anderlecht. It’s an ideal club to start my career in Europe. Later on I can dream of other things.”

“My qualities are my technique and my speed. My idol is Kaka, who I resemble physically,” Renan says.
