Kouyaté: "Felt it break immediately"

Cheikhou Kouyaté got seriously injured this Monday. “What I'm feeling right now? My head hurts and I’m dizzy, but I can cope with it,” he said before the operation.

"I got injured during a contact with my friend Bouba Sare. I jumped to get the ball with my head and immediately I felt a bone break,” he says in Sudpresse.

"This is a very bad moment for an injury because I was feeling really well and I wanted to show everyone what I was able to do. But ok, it’s better that it happens at the beginning of the season than in the middle.”
