Nicolas Frutos already trained with the group, but starting the game next Tuesday comes a bit too early. “I can play a couple of minutes, that’s for sure,” the striker says in Het Nieuwsblad.
"At the beginning I’ll need more rest than the other players,” Frutos says. “The trainer and I agreed not to push anything. Physically I’m fine, but once and a while I’ll train on my own. But no one has to worry about that. Mostly it will be preventative.”
"I’ve trained a lot the last few months, but, no matter how far I am right now, playing a game isn’t the same. I’ll work progressively. The trainer will have to decide. I won’t have a problem with sitting on the bench. I’ve already talked to the trainer and he also followed me closely during my rehabilitation in Argentina.”
